A CHARITY whose horses and ponies provide therapy and enjoyment for people with disabilities has raised thousands.
Andover Riding for the Disabled, which is celebrating reaching its 50-year milestone this year, held its annual fundraising golf day at Tidworth.
During the day 20 teams of four generously supported the event and more than £6,000 raised from the teams and sponsors.
The competition was very close with all teams within eight shots. The winners were Swift Courier Solutions made up of Phil Robins, Colin Robins, Dave Karas and Dave Adamson.

In second place was Philip Antrobus's team from Hyson’s and in third came the team from Jeremy Withers Ruby Roofing Supplies, both within a shot.
The Riding for the Disabled Association is a national charity which began in 1969. The branch in Andover is closely aligned with and supported by South Region and National Office.
The branch began in 1972 and the coaching team and leaders and side walkers are all volunteers.
