A MAN has suffered serious injuries in an industrial incident in Andover earlier this week.
According to police, the 44-year-old man was transported to the hospital following the incident.
The incident happened on Madrid Road in Andover on Monday, October 17.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Police were called at 10.26am on Monday, 17 October to reports of an industrial incident on Madrid Road, Andover.
“A 44-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.”
This was why an air ambulance was flying above Andover town on Monday.
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance spokesperson said: “We were dispatched to an industrial incident, but were stood down when overhead.”
It is understood that police have transferred the investigation of the incident to the Health and Safety Executive.
