A WEEK-LONG operation to crackdown on county lines crimes in Andover has resulted in four arrests, it was revealed this week.
Hampshire police have been focussing their efforts on county lines as part of a national week to tackle drug supply and related harm that brings violence and misery to communities, and exposes young people at risk to exploitation.
During the week, a joint operation with officers from Hampshire Constabulary and the Metropolitan Police saw a man arrested and charged with drug supply offences.
Jordan Essien, aged 23, of Longton Avenue, Lewisham, was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
