FAMILY-OWNED Boswells in Andover celebrated 50 years of business in style as they held a tea party for their customers earlier this month.
First started in 1972 by Peter Burn, the Andover cafe in the Chantry Centre, was one of 18 cafes that form part of the Boswell business across the country.
It held a tea party to show their appreciation to their customers.
Charlotte Jones, who is one of the owners of Boswells alongside her three brothers and joined the family business more than 10 years ago in 2011, said that it was lovely to be able to give back to loyal customers and thank them.

Boswells has been passed through three generations and was first started by Charlotte's grandad, Peter, then passed to her father Jeremy, and then passed onto the next generation of Charlotte and her brothers - Nick, Matt and Tim Burn who all joined the business by 2004.
Tim Burn, Boswells director, attended the tea party, which took place at the cafe in Andover on October 13 that was first opened in 1990.
He said: "It was such a special event, enjoyed by our customers and the Boswells team. It was a lovely opportunity to thank our customers in person for continually choosing Boswells."
The business prides itself on being part of the Andover community and holding strong relationships with its customers by aiming to remember their names and orders, whether they go to the cafe daily or weekly.
Charlotte added: "It's really special, I would say it's quite unique now to have a family business. We have evolved over time to always keep up with demands and it has just been lovely to see that one by one members of our family have joined the business."
Boswells also held a festival-themed party for their teams in June called BOSFEST, to say thanks for all their hard work.
