ONE of the UK's best Oasis tribute bands is set to perform at The Lights this weekend.

It will be a supernova of a show when the band called Oas-is return to The Lights arena on Saturday, October 29 at 8pm.

No wigs, no gimmicks, just the closest resemblance to an Oasis show. Liam and Noel don’t seem to be getting any closer to reuniting, with both solo acts producing their own music and touring the country in recent years, this show at The Lights will be the closest event to the real thing.

Following a string of dates across the country, including shows in Leeds, Bristol, Coventry and Milton Keynes, the highly regarded tribute band will cover the hits of the Manchester band in Andover, for an electric night of epic visuals and sound.

With no half measures when it comes to playing the part, Oas-is give their very best pastiche to the Britpop legends. The band have toured for a decade with the musical talent it takes to gain interest from multiple venues and crowds across the country.

The band play songs from Oasis’ original albums, including Definitely Maybe, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, Don’t Believe the Truth and Be Here Now. From time to time, they dip into a deep cut or two, meaning avid fans of the Manchester lads could be treated to songs they haven’t heard live for over fifteen years.

Oasis sold over 70 million records worldwide and has a huge following both in the UK and globally. The Gallagher brothers have not appeared on stage since 2009 when Noel departed the band abruptly. Whilst both Liam and Noel have had success as solo artists, their key success came between 1993 and 2009.

Although Liam has teased returns in the past 13 years, the best bet for audiences to see these songs live with both a version of Liam and Noel on stage is at The Lights this October. But it’s not just about the two leads of the band. The full band truly live and breathe the much-loved British group's sound and look. Equipped with instruments, microphones, a parka, shades and puffed-out chests, this will definitely (not maybe) be a night that Oasis fans deserve.
