A MAN from Andover who stole items from TK Maxx has been handed a community order.
Joshua Mundy, of Dewan Court, stole clothing to the value of £400 belonging to TK Maxx on September 20.
During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, the 34-year-old was handed a community order and ordered to pay a compensation fee of £800.
MAGISTRATES have handed out a custodial sentence to a disqualified driver.
Sherihan Sharif, of Broomwood Road, drove a Ford Focus on Granada Place in Andover on June 17 with no insurance.
Sherif was also disqualified from driving at the time of the offence.
The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to both offences.
During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, they were sent to prison for eight weeks.
A DRUG driver from Andover has been banned from getting behind the wheel.
Benjamin Morris, of Hamburg Close, drove a Vauxhall Astra on Andover Road in Winchester on July 10, with 678ugl of Benzoylecgonine in his blood - the legal limit is 50.
The 28-year-old also had 29ugl of cocaine in his blood - the legal limit is 10.
He pleaded guilty to both offences and during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court he was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay a court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £160.
