RESIDENTS in Andover enjoyed celebrating Halloween with a whole host of fun-filled activities.
Everyone in Andover got into the spooky spirit across the Halloween weekend in the town centre.
On Saturday, October 29 the Andover BID team teamed up with the Test Valley Borough Council to host a live music event in the Time Ring. Entrants all dressed up in fancy dress and families were given maps with participating businesses around the town to obtain clues and receive sweets and treats. The weather turned out well, and thousands of people turned out for a full day of exciting fun.
On Halloween itself, on Monday, October 31 InAndover together with Andover Community Events brought a whole lot of spooky fun to Andover including a trick or treat, a spooky disco, a night market and children’s fancy dress.
A great evening started at 4.30pm through to 6.30pm and there was a magical display of stalls and attractions. Children were encouraged to participate, take a map, and find a Halloween character in each store and return the form and win an exciting prize. The town was buzzing and the thousands of people who enjoyed the events moved around the town bringing joy to businesses.
