ORGANISERS of Winter Wonderland Day in Andover are reassuring residents that the event will still be going ahead as planned.
As previously reported, the Andover Winter Wonderland Day was announced on social media, with a joyous response from residents.
One of the highlights of the day will be at Riverside Park as it's transformed into a winter wonderland, allowing people to explore the park with photo opportunities, fake snow, activities and more.
There will also be a Christmas Market in the High Street, giving shoppers the opportunity to buy Christmas gifts from talented traders and enjoy delicious food, drink and entertainment.

The organisers of the event, which will take place on December 4 have had a few enquiries about whether the spectacular event is still going ahead, in light of a recent grant application the directors put into Andover Town Council to help fund the event, which was later withdrawn, but the directors are reassuring the public that they have “more than enough" businesses sponsoring.
The sponsors include main sponsor Angel Call Handling, a firm of local ladies supporting businesses with their daily admin and HR needs, with other sponsors A-Plan Insurance, Parker Bullen Solicitors, The Commercial Centre, Andover Patio Centre and David Mellor Family Jewellers.
The event will take place on December 4 and will run from 12pm to 11pm.
