A VINEYARD in the heart of the Test Valley is preparing for Christmas with festive activities.

Vineyard and winery Black Chalk Estate is hosting two Christmas events in the run-up to the holidays.

The wine venue alongside the River Test has teamed up with Stockbridge-based Featherstone Flowers for a festive wreath-making workshop on Friday, November 25 from 5.30-8.30pm.

Visitors inside the tasting room will learn how to make a natural and sustainable wreath to take home. Tickets costing £78 include a glass of Black Chalk Classic sparkling wine as well as the festive fare.

A Christmas winery tour and tasting event will be available on Friday, November 18, Saturday, November 26 and Saturday, December 17. The festive evening within the tasting room invites guests to explore the winery and try two of Black Chalk’s wines in addition to the festive fare. The tour and tasting event is on 6-7pm each day for £15.
