STUDENTS and staff at The Wellington Academy (TWA) in Ludgershall are celebrating after Ofsted once again rated the academy 'good' in all categories.
The report, which followed a two-day inspection carried out in October, noted that “leaders have very high expectations of pupils and staff alike”.
TWA was previously graded as 'good' in 2016 and maintained the grading following its recent inspection, with Ofsted inspectors finding it 'good' in all assessment categories.
Particular praise was given to the aid given by the school to disabled students.

The report noted that teachers "have suitable plans in place to support pupils to attend well and learn successfully."
It continued: "Leaders track the successes of these students and make sure any gaps in knowledge are closed."
The academy joined the Ascend Learning Trust in 2020.
Headteacher Steven Paddock was extremely pleased with how the inspection went, and said: “We are absolutely delighted that all of the hard work and effort of the pupils, staff and wider community to place The Wellington Academy into its current very stable position has been validated by Ofsted.”
He continued: “The inspectors left us with a clear mandate for further development which we will be working alongside the school improvement colleagues at Ascend Learning Trust (ALT) to plan and embed rapidly.
“After converting over to ALT the improvement has been extremely rapid and now we can use our extra confidence to place this academy at the heart of this great community.
“I thank our staff, pupils and parents equally for buying into both the ALT and my personal leadership of this academy since April 2020 in such volatile times for the whole education sector.”

Chief executive of ATL George Croxford said: “We are absolutely thrilled that the dedication and hard work of the staff and students has been recognised by Ofsted.
“The school was desperately in need of some stable leadership when we took it over.
“Mr Paddock and his leadership team have provided that stability and they have led the school demanding the highest standards and having the highest expectations.
“The ‘good’ judgement is thoroughly deserved, well done all at TWA.”
