POLICE are reminding residents how to keep their vehicles safe after a delivery van was stolen in Over Wallop.
At around 1.25pm on Monday, December 5 a white Mercedes van was stolen after it had been parked in Pound Road.
Officers attended and later located the van in nearby Wallop Drive.
A spokesperson from Hampshire police said: "Our enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information should call 101, quoting the reference number 44220492216.
"We’d like to take this opportunity to issue some general tips on how you can keep your vehicle safe and secure."

This includes:
• Never leaving your keys in the ignition, even if you are away from your car for a short period of time
• Locking your vehicle when you leave it – this greatly reduces the possibility of it being targeted by an opportunist thief
• Manually checking your locks if you have used a key fob to lock your vehicle
• Investing in good in-car security locks, such as steering wheel locks
