ANDOVER drivers will have 11 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M27, from 9pm October 17, 2021, to 6am January 28, 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 13 to Chilworth Roundabout, link road closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• M27, from 8pm December 7, 2022, to 6am January 29, 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closures for gantry inspection.

• A303, from 8pm January 9 to 6am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Thruxton, slip road and lane closures for signage repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm January 18 to 6am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work, diversion via National Highways network.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A303, from 8pm January 24 to 6am January 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Picket Twenty, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• M3, from 8pm January 27 to 6am January 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions Chilworth Roundabout, Lane closures for electrical work.

• A303, from 8pm January 30 to 6am February 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse to Thruxton Village, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A34, from 8pm January 30 to 6am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closures for barrier repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

• A34, from 8pm January 31 to 6am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Sutton Scotney Services, Services slip roads and lane closures for drainage work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
