A FUN-LOVING father and son was found dead at his home in Andover by his mother, an inquest has heard.
William Hewlett, also known to his family and friends as Billy, was found dead in the bathroom of his home on Charnwood Close on February 6, last year.
An inquest into his death was held at Winchester Corner's Court on Tuesday, February 13.
Senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson told the inquest that it was likely the father of three had an argument with his partner so decided to go out drinking and when he returned home it is likely that he took heroin.
A family statement read out during the hearing described him as a person with “a fearless lust for life”.

They said: "He was a typical loveable rouge willing to go the extra mile for anyone he cared about.
"He quickly proved to be a fun-loving father who loved all of his children."
Mr Wilkinson also read out a statement from Mr Hewlett's GP from Adelaide Medical Centre. The report concluded that the 45-year-old had been recognised as having drug dependency since 2016 and he was someone who "suffered from drug addiction” using heroin and crack cocaine.
The inquest also heard that officers from Hampshire Constabulary were called to the address and suspected he may have taken heroin when he returned home.
Concluding Mr Wilkinson said: "Billy may have had some arguments with his partner, he left the house to go to the pub.
"He had consumed alcohol while he had been out but there is a possibility that he may have had a quantity of heroin but we don’t know.
"He went out to have a good time that night to try and forget his problems but unfortunately it went wrong as he would not have known the effects of those drugs.

"We know he went to bed at around 11.30pm and we know he was found at 3am. There is evidence to show he may have taken heroin in his bedroom.
"There is nothing to suggest that Billy took his own life or intended to self-harm but rather at some point he did potentially take some heroin in his room on top of the drugs and alcohol.
"He came even further intoxicated and he then made his way to the bathroom and then collapsed. I don’t believe he would have recognised the risk that this posed.
"I am going to conclude a cause of death as accidental death."
