THE highest speed recorded on an Andover road by a driver last year has been revealed by Hampshire police.
The information was obtained through a freedom of information request sent by the Advertiser to the police force.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the request asked for information relating to the highest speed recorded on an Andover road by a speeder in 2022.

Within the request, the Advertiser specifically asked for details of the exact speed of the car, the type of car it was and the road the driver sped on.
Hampshire police revealed that a Ford Focus driver had the highest speed recorded last year.
The driver was recorded going at 95mph on A303 through Weyhill.
