AN untaxed muddy car was seized by police after the driver tried to evade officers.
The "vehicle of interest" had multiple people inside when it was seen driving in Tidworth on Sunday afternoon (February 19).
When police found the car, the occupants were seen walking away and said they had "no knowledge of the vehicle" despite being covered in mud.
One man admitted to owning the car, which had no tax or MOT, and said it had been used for off-roading on Salisbury Plain.
The car was seized by police and all occupants had to find alternative means of getting back to Dorset.
PC Oakley, PC Kasimatis and PCSO Kaur located the car while on patrol.
