Vanessa said: "It was a hard push to get the salon open on time, my husband helped organise all of the electricians, builders and decorators who were all working really hard to make sure we could.
"I'm really pleased with the opening how went, we have been inundated with support from the local area and we now have so many new clients. The response has been phenomenal!
"Without the whole team getting involved, we wouldn’t have been able to open on time. I'm absolutely shattered, but I am so happy with the final result and proud of everyone who made it possible."
Despite previous struggles during the coronavirus pandemic, the salon has bounced back and had a whole new makeover.
Vanessa and her team of 15 hair colour and style professionalists will now be offering an appointment-only service, not including its private barber service, which will still offer walk-ins.
The last day of official business at their previous salon was on February 25.
Salon 73 is now based at Units 1 to 3 at the fairground in Weyhill.
