A SCHOOL in Andover will benefit from a significant investment to enhance its facilities and provide additional professional development opportunities.
Rookwood School in Weyhill Road has joined the Inspired Learning Group (ILG) and is now one of 20 ILG schools or nurseries.
The non-selective school, which has been operating for more than 85 years, has an excellent track record at GCSE and in 2021 opened a Sixth Form with the first A-level results due this summer.

"We are proud both of our academic achievements and our extensive extra and co-curricular programmes.

Rookwood School is an independent day and boarding school for children aged 2 to 18, set on an eight-acre site. It had 301 pupils listed at its last inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
Carolyn Hardiman, chair of governors, said the move was 'exciting'.
She said: “I am excited as we embark on this new chapter as part of the ILG family.
"ILG was chosen as the ideal partner for the school due to its shared vision, values and strong track record in providing a world-class education.”
Rookwood School officially became part of ILG on March 9.
Amit Mehta, the CEO of the Inspired Learning Group said: "Rookwood School is a wonderful addition to our family of schools, and we look forward to working closely with Mr Kirk-Burgess and his dedicated team as the school enters an incredibly exciting new chapter.”
