MAKING her debut for WEOS at the Fairground Hall in Weyhill this week will be Jamyma Hanson from East Sussex.
Jamyma, now in her early 20s, is fairly new to the concert circuit but has already made a big impression on all who have heard her and she is very much enjoying playing for electronic keyboard clubs.
Taught by Michael Wooldridge – who will be her special guest on the evening – she has taken a keen interest in both theatre organ and electronic keyboard stylings.
She performs a wide selection of music, ranging from classical favourites and music of the great American Songbook to musicals, The Beatles and ABBA.

For her electronic keyboard concerts, Jamyma’s instrument allows for an extensive mix of sounds and styles, although she also loves to perform on many of the theatre organs in the UK.
She has appeared in concert at numerous larger venues such as Brighton's Dome Concert Hall, Worthing Assembly Hall and the East Sussex National near Uckfield, where she has performed on Europe's largest Wurlitzer.
As a scholar at the Rye Wurlitzer Academy, she had the incredible experience of an all-expenses-paid trip to Los Angeles to attend one of the American Theatre Organ Society annual conventions. Further information about Jamyma can be obtained at organfax.co.uk/players/jamymahanson.
The concert commences at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 16 and tickets are priced at £6 and available at the door.
