STUDENTS from two different schools went head to head in football matches held at a primary school in Andover.
Hampshire headteacher Sara Allen found herself cheering from both sides of the pitch when her two schools played each other.
Ms Allen, headteacher at Portway Infant School took over as headteacher at Andover CoE Primary School in January and now divides her time between the two schools.

Her loyalties were challenged before Easter when her Year 2 boys and girls football teams play against each other for the first time.
She said: “I was frantically cheering from one end of the pitch to the other to make sure the children knew I was equally proud of both my schools! I was so relieved when each school won a match and then drew in the third match! A perfect result! I needn’t have worried, all the children had a fabulous time and that’s what really matters!”
