WHAT could you do in 1980's Andover, that you can't do now?
That was the question we posed to our readers on Facebook, and we received a large number of responses, with many readers sharing their nostalgia for our town.
Here are a few of our favourites:
Katie Deans used to like putting her skates on: "Roller disco at sports centre."
April Davies was nostalgic about a beloved high street shop: "Go to Woolworths."
Mark Pearce knew a good meal when he saw one: "Brati food van down by Breakers."
Mandy Armstrong wasn't the only one who said this: "Walk down a market that stretched from the Guildhall to the bottom by Bridge Street."
Mark Connolly remembers partying hard: "Go to the Country Bumpkin."
We don't condone doing this, but Jackie Speed used to "Leave your front door unlocked and know it was safe to do so."
George Head would "go out with a tenner, and come home with change".
