AN ENHAM woman is choosing to brave the shave to raise money for charity.
Karrie Jones, 61, will be having more than a slight trim as she has her hair shaved to raise money for Dementia UK.
It will take place at The Cutting Edge in the Chantry Centre on Friday, April 21, at 2pm.
Karrie, who is a wheelchair user, said she is raising money in memory of her family members, including her mum, who had dementia.

“My mum had it and a few other members in my family have it as well. So I wanted to do something in memory of them,” she said.
Karrie added that she chose April 21 because it’s her mum’s birthday.
She is looking to raise £200 for the charity.
Karrie has previously raised money for Cancer Research charity in 2012.
