A RESIDENT from Andover has been handed a six-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months after being found with a knife.
Louis Timmins, of Camelot Close, on February 24, had in his possession a knife in London Steet, Andover.
On the same date, Timmins assaulted a PC Dimmer and was found to have a quantity of cannabis, a controlled Class B drug.

During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on April 11, Timmins was handed a six-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months and ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work.
Magistrates also ordered the drugs to be destroyed and ordered the 26-year-old to pay court costs of £85.
