IF YOU are unsure of where to go or how to celebrate on the weekend of the King's Coronation, here are some of the events taking place in the Andover area. 

From public events to street parties, there are various exciting events taking place from Friday, May 5 to Monday, May 8 in honour of the King's Coronation taking place on Saturday, May 6. 

Grately Coronation Lunch

Address: The Plough Inn paddock, Grateley, SP11 8JR

When: Saturday, May 6 from 3pm

Face painting, bouncy castle, crafts and music all at the coronation lunch alongside friends and family. 

King Charles III Coronation Street Party

Address: Ludgershall High Street

When: Sunday, May 7 from 2pm

Ludgershall Town Council has organised a road closure for the day and will provide chairs, tables, and decorations. The local radio station will provide music, alongside live bands.

Coronation celebration at The Gin Palace 

Address: 21 Winchester St, Andover, SP10 2EA

When: Saturday, May 6 from 2pm 

Lots of celebrations, food and coronation-inspired cocktails, mocktails and drinks.

Upper Clatford Street Party

Address: The Village Street, Upper Clatford, SP11 7QL

When: Sunday, May 7 from 4pm
