RESIDENTS in Overton are being encouraged to share their views on the latest neighbourhood plan.
Overton Parish Council needs residents' views as part of reviewing the latest plan.
Neighbourhood planning gives communities direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood and shape the development and growth of their area.
They are able to choose where they want new homes, shops and offices to be built, have their say on what those new buildings should look like and what infrastructure should be provided, and grant planning permission for the new buildings they want to see go ahead.

The council is holding an event on Tuesday, May 2 in St Mary’s Church rooms, just behind the Church in Church Road.
The council is hoping to find out what residents think about some important questions.
Should the old Portals Mill site be used to build new homes? Or should it be used for something else or a range of things?
Do Overton residents have a view on what should happen to the settlement ponds now they are no longer used as part of the paper-making process?
If the old Mill site is developed what will be the issues for Overton?
