AN ANDOVER resident has been banned from getting behind the wheel for more than a year after they were caught drink driving.
Andrejs Mihailovs, of Tintagel Close, on April 4 drove a Skoda on Northern Avenue in Andover with 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, the 39-year-old pleaded guilty to the driving offence.

During the same hearing, Mihailovs was disqualified from driving for 19 months and ordered to pay a fine of £339.
Magistrates also ordered Mihailovs to pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £136.
