A CHILDREN'S charity minibus has been stolen from the charity's centre in Andover and this is not the first time.
The vehicle belonged to Youth Options, a Hampshire charity that works with children and young people to help them achieve a better future.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary told the Advertiser the bus was stolen sometime between April 19 and 20 from The Scott Centre Pre-School.
The minibus is a key part of the charity's work providing transportation for the children to access childcare and engage in activities.

Caroline Horrill, chair of trustees at Youth Options, said “This is the second time in a year that Youth Options charity has had the minibus stolen. The children use the minibus daily and having one stolen again is devastating. Whilst it might just be a vehicle for whoever stole it, for the children, it is their means of accessing opportunities they might not otherwise be able to do.”
As previously reported on April 27, last year, another minibus was dumped in the New Forest after it was stolen and set on fire.
The charity is now appealing to anyone who can help to contact police.
Youth Options has launched a fundraiser to help pay for the costs of the replacement and cover the additional costs for temporary transport.

Madeleine Durie, Youth Options chief executive, said: “The cost of replacing a minibus, even a second-hand one, has shot up in recent years. It is sad that we are now going to have to spend money on a replacement bus rather than using it to support children and young people.”
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary added: "Officers are investigating after a minibus was stolen from Mead Hedges, Andover.
"The theft took place at some time overnight between 19 and 20 April.
"Anyone with information should call police on 44230154246."
