ENTHUSIASTS of all ages are in for a special treat as 50 classic aircraft and more than 300 cars and bikes will descend on a museum in Hampshire next month.

The Wheels and Wings event will be taking place on Saturday, July 1, at the Army Flying Museum.

Throughout the day, visitors are set to see a wide array of aircraft flying in and out of the Museum’s annual fundraising event and weather permitting, spectators will see the fabulous Heritage Flight from Rolls-Royce make a very special first-time appearance, along with the vibrant Stinson Reliant from Navy Wings.

Car enthusiasts will be thrilled to see some stunning supercars with the Porsche Club and Ferrari Owner’s Club in attendance. The Austin Healey Club, Aston Martin Owner’ Club and Wessex Area Lotus Club will all be there to please and delight fans.   A Concours D’Elegance will also ensure visitors see a display of the most prestigious vintage cars on show.

The event will also showcase some fabulous motorbikes, with the British Army Motorsports Association making a special appearance at this year’s event.

A full programme of entertainment will run throughout the day including lots of activities for the whole family including craft activities, laser tag, STEM area, garden games and circus skills for all ages to get involved in.  The event village will also showcase artisan traders courtesy of Hampshire Fayre and visitors will be able to tuck into some lovely food and experience delicious local ales from the Hopback Brewery.
