TWO primary school teachers from Andover are set to complete a 100km walk to raise money for Leukemia UK.
Ellie Wepener and Janine Lake decided to arrange the charity walk for Leukemia UK after two children at their school, Vigo Primary School were sadly diagnosed with the illness.
Ellie and Janine have already completed one of their two challenges, to walk 50km around Windsor, which they completed on April 1.
The duo are due to walk 100km from London to Brighton on May 27 and May 28 to raise funds. The walk will take place over two days, with the teachers only stopping late Saturday night to rest before continuing the next morning.

Overall, they will have walked 150km, which is equivalent to 93 miles, in the hope of raising some money on behalf of Leukemia UK.
Janine said: "The reason why we have chosen this charity is that sadly, two of our pupils at school and their families have been affected by leukaemia, but their resilience and positivity have inspired us to take on these Ultra marathons and raise some much-needed funds for the charity.
"Your donations will help fund research into both acute and chronic leukaemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers. The money will help improve early diagnosis, develop kinder and more effective treatments as well as fund innovative trials.

"Ultimately these breakthroughs will mean that treatments will be kinder and more effective. From the both of us, thank you for your kind donations!"
