A WOMAN committed to helping support small and medium-sized businesses has launched her own business in Andover and Salisbury.
After a career which has taken her across the world, Sally Bennett returned home from her travels to set up the HR Dept.
Sally aims to use her 25 years of human resource (HR) experience to provide practical and relevant support for the "under-represented smaller business community".
She said: “One thing I love about working in the SME community is that the engagement is about their individual challenges.

“So I am looking forward to getting to know the different organisations, understanding what’s important to them and how they are trying to grow.
“From here we can work together in finding tailored solutions within the framework of legislation which will genuinely positively impact their business."
Prior to launching her own business, Sally has worked in HR roles across a variety of industries including retail, financial services, food and beverage, automotive and aviation. She is now enjoying the challenge of owning her own business.
Sally added: "Having my own outsourced HR business in Salisbury and Andover very much allows me to give back to the community whilst doing it on my own terms which I feel is best for my future clients and business.
“It has been a daunting journey but the team at The HR Dept has been incredibly supportive, so I am feeling pretty comfortable and genuinely really excited.”
Sally now hopes to work with SMEs to navigate through their biggest challenges, including recruitment and retention. Particularly with the cost of living and issues with childcare costs.
The company offers services that are adaptable and cost-effective, helping businesses to get the most from their staff, along with advice and support which is provided locally, and unique bespoke solutions led by a company's culture and business goals.
The company is based at The Portway Centre, Old Serum Park, Old Serum, Salisbury.
