A WALKWAY which was no longer safe at a popular beauty spot in Andover has now been replaced.
Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) announced on social media on Monday, May 15, that a new bridge at Anton Lakes has been installed.
The bridge has replaced the old, unsafe one which was stopping passers-by from enjoying the surrounding natural beauty and wildlife.

A TVBC spokesperson explained the old boardwalk was "no longer fit for purpose".
They said that as soon as it became "unsafe" it was vital that the council replaced it with a new walkway.
The spokesperson added: "The community can now freely and safely enjoy the beautiful nature reserve over the summer and beyond.”
