The show was a remarkable opportunity for both first and second-year students at Andover Campus to unite and collaborate towards a common goal.

It served as a platform for them to demonstrate their creative prowess and express themselves through the universal language of dance.

Dance lecturer, Alicia Barnett said: “The summer dance show was a great success, and I am so proud of each and every student involved. The year 2 dance students produced this show taking on responsibilities including choreography, admin, marketing, hair/makeup/costume, managing and coaching. They have worked so hard to make the final product one to remember and it truly was.

“We had great feedback from the audience about the energy and wide range of dance styles which included Hiphop, African, Commercial, Musical Theatre and Contemporary. This show was also in collaboration with, our local youth company, AYDC and the year 10 dance students from John Hanson Community School.

“The overall success of this show has left us all on a high and I am so excited to follow our second-year dance students' as they progress and see where their journey takes them.”
