PERFORMING for WEOS at the Fairground Hall, Weyhill, on Thursday, June 15 will be Pete Shaw.
Pete, from North Wales, is a player with vast experience in the music world.
With encouragement from a musical family, Pete began playing the piano at a very young age and is now well respected in the electronic keyboard business with which he has been associated for many years. He began playing semi-professionally in working men's clubs at the age of fifteen, backing cabaret artistes with a seven-keyboard set-up.
One of the most versatile players around, Pete had his all-round musical talents put to great use several years ago when he worked as musical director for Granada Television’s Tour of Talent roadshow, following which he received an invitation to play for a choir at the National Eisteddfod of Wales in Bala.
