SOUTHERN Water has stated that there are currently no plans for a hosepipe ban in Hampshire.
Last week South East Water announced the ban on hose pipes and sprinklers in Kent and Sussex.
The water company urged people only to use water for essential purposes. After that announcement, they issued an immediate ban on hose pipes and sprinklers last week.
The measures mean that using the equipment to water gardens, clean cars and fill swimming pools will not be allowed.
However, Southern Water has confirmed that Hampshire’s water resources are in good shape at the moment, so no restrictions are anticipated.’

Some of the activities that were prohibited under the TUB were:

The ban came into effect on Friday 5 August and was lifted on 4 November 2022.
