Tidworth is set to celebrate Armed Forces Day with a variety of performances and stalls held for attendees to enjoy throughout the day, such as The Dusk Hounds, Off The Cuff and Deploy Deejays, along with Non Stop Kids Entertainment providing children’s entertainment from start to finish.
The event will take place from 1pm to 10pm on Saturday, June 24 at Tidworth Park, and is one of numerous events taking place across the UK during the last week of June and first week of July to celebrate the Armed Forces.
For the second year in a row, the Tidworth event will be partially sponsored by Lovell Homes, which will donate £1,500 for the main stage music.
At the event, Lovell will be giving children and their parents the opportunity to learn about different types of herbs and how to care for them by creating their own potted plants. The participants will be provided with plant pots, compost and an assortment of decorative stickers to plant their herbs with, to foster a sense of creativity and connection with nature.
The Family Fun Day, which includes Bob Hoggs Sheepdog Display and Stokes Funfair, will be sponsored by Bloor Homes.
The proceeds of the event will be used to support Kick Start FC and Outpost Charity.
