HUGE trucks will be racing around Thruxton Circuit this weekend, as the annual 'Convoy on the Plain' returns to Andover.

The highly anticipated 'Convoy on the Plain' is returning to Thruxton this weekend, Saturday, July 8 - Sunday, July 9 and is set to be headlined by the British Truck Racing Championship.
Visitors will be able to experience the rumble of powerful engines and the sights and sounds of racing trucks filling the air.
Five colossal contests from the British Truck Racing Championship are set to take place, weighing in at more than five tonnes and producing in excess of 1000bhp, the heavyweight behemoths are primed to put on quite a show.
Gates will open at 8am on both days, and the price of tickets will begin at £18.
Camping is free, and a kids zone is available to visit for further entertainment.
As well as this, a show truck display featuring a collection of impressive show trucks will feature at the circuit, with visitors being able to marvel at the spectacular mechanical beasts.
There will even be live music and a trade village for visitors to explore and enjoy truck-related merchandise.
