A HAMSHIRE drug driver has been banned from getting behind the wheel for a year.
James Littler, of Beaconsfield Avenue, Basingstoke, on March 7 drove a VW Caddy on the A303 in Andover with more than seven micrograms of Delta-9-Tetrahdrocannabinol in his blood. The legal limit is 2ug/L.
During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on July 7, the 36-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.

Magistrates disqualified Littler from driving for 12 months and ordered him to pay a fine of £184.
He must also pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £74.
