AN ANDOVER drink driver has been banned from taking to the roads for more than a year.
Yosif Simonov, of Crossways, on June 15 drove a Renault G Modus on Bourne Road in Andover with 69ug of alcohol in their breath. The legal limit is 35.
During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 6 the 27-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.

Magistrates disqualified him from driving for 18 months and ordered him to pay a fine of £346.
Simonov must also pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of 138.
