POLICE are asking witnesses to come forward after a knife-wielding man was involved in an altercation.
On Tuesday, August 1, police attended an incident at High Street in Andover.
A disturbance near the Guildhall caused by three men, one of whom had a knife, was reported at 1.10pm.
Two men were stopped and searched in the area following the altercation but no weapons were found.
No injuries were reported at the time.

Today, August 6, Hampshire Police is asking two key witnesses to come forward with information.
A spokesperson for the force said: "In particular, we would like to speak with a woman who instructed members of the public to call the police and advised staff in one shop to lock their door."
These witnesses are believed to have important information about the incident but left the scene "quite quickly".
