A NEW 'luxury and vibrant' restaurant has opened in Andover's town centre, and the owners hope it will bring something different to the town.
Envy Eatery and Lounge officially opened on the High Street on Wednesday, July 12, with a ribbon cutting by borough councillor Iris Andersen.
The restaurant's chefs bring more than 30 years of experience in crafting Mediterranean dishes as well as traditional favourites.
The staff at Envy told the Advertiser that they are proud that all the ingredients used are sourced from nearby businesses.

Married couple Meliha and Mevlut Bilgic opened the restaurant in the hope that they could bring something new to Andover.
Meliha said that she hopes the idea will bring something "positive" to the town because "a lot of the shops have been closing".
She said the new restaurant, which has been decorated with a colour scheme of gold and green, will bring some "luxury to the town".
She said: "I think people love to see something different and that is the idea to bring something new and exciting to the town."
Envy has lots to offer including breakfast from hearty classics to fresh and nutritious options.
For lunch, diners can indulge in the menu showcasing a blend of Mediterranean specialities. From salads and sandwiches to savoury mains. Envy also boasts a cocktail menu.

The Advertiser visited the restaurant on Monday, August 7, and spoke to Wendy and Rodger Whale who were enjoying their meal.
They said they think the opening of Envy is a good thing for Andover.
They said: "I think it is fantastic and it is nice to see something opening in the town centre rather than see something closing.
"It is about time we were allowed to have something good in the town, something that is much more than a cafe. It adds something sensational to the town."
Speaking about the business Cllr Andersen added: "It is really lovely that something like that has opened in Andover.
"I think it's great because it's not just a cafe because it's a really unique place offering lots of different things."
