AN award-winning fish and chips business has confirmed it hopes to open in September in Andover.
As previously reported in March, Harlees said it would be welcoming customers in Andover within the next six weeks.
The takeaway is due to replace the now-closed Vets 4 Pets on Weyhill Road.
Richard Long from Harlees previously said: “We are really excited to be opening in Andover and bringing our award-winning fish and chips to the town.

"We have found a fantastic site with lots of parking and enough space to offer a casual dining experience, allowing our customers to enjoy quality fish and chips as fresh as possible. We aim to be open in May 2023.”
The Advertiser went down to the shop on Monday, August 14 and found the shop was not yet open.
A spokesperson for Harlees said: "We are hoping to open Harlees towards the end of September, we can't wait to welcome local Andover residents to our new branch.
"Unfortunately we have been regrettably held up by an ongoing delay by one of our utility companies. We have tried everything to progress but sadly had to push back our opening which we had hoped to be in July. We thank local residents for their patience.'
