THE wait was finally over for nervous students in Andover as they collected their GCSE results.
Teenagers across the country woke up to collect results on Thursday, August 24 and it was no different for those in Andover and the Test Valley area.

This year the proportion of top grades awarded was expected to fall. Similar to the pattern with A Level results, it was expected that top GCSE grades would drop compared to last year, as part of a plan to bring grades down to pre-pandemic levels in England this year.
However, this did not dampen the spirits of students across the borough as many celebrated some amazing successes with a smile on their faces.
