TICKETS for next year's Victorious Festival have gone on sale - while the clean-up operation gets well underway on Southsea Common.
The three-day-long music festival returned to Portsmouth on Friday, August 25 and saw more than 170,000 festival goers descend onto Southsea Common over the weekend.
Acid jazz icons Jamiroquai led the headliners on Friday night while UK rock giants Kasabian wowed crowds with an energetic set on Saturday. Mumford & Sons closed the festival on Sunday evening with their only UK show of 2023 to a backdrop of a spectacular fireworks finale.
James Ralls, festival director said: “What another incredible year we’ve had with our Victorious family! The weather was on our side and it was great to see so many people join us on Southsea Common to enjoy three days of amazing music, family entertainment and activities. Thanks for joining us and see you all in 2024.”

Also playing across the weekend were British Mercury Music Prize winners Alt-J, DJ legend Pete Tong, legendary Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, Sigrid, Ellie Goulding, Natalie Imbruglia, Friendly Fires, Annie Mac, Blossoms, The Charlatans, Belle and Sebastian, Jake Bugg, Kaiser Chiefs, Hard-Fi, The Vaccines, The Divine Comedy, Katy B and many more.
McFly surprised crowds on Saturday lunchtime with Victorious’ first-ever secret set.
Aside from the music, the weekend also saw plenty of laughs from the comedy line-up which included Dara O’Brien and Jason Manford.
The festival's newly-expanded Kids Arena saw bouncy castles, face painting, zip wires and meet and greets with characters like Bluey, Disney Princesses and Sonic the Hedgehog.
A huge team is now working on cleaning up the Common and disassembling the stages, returning it back to public use.
Victorious 2024 will be the tenth outing of the festival, which has previously seen headline performances from the likes of Prodigy, The Streets, Sam Fender, New Order, Paul Weller and Stereophonics.
The festival started small at Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard, the brainchild of local lads Andy Marsh, James Ralls and Ben Miles.
It was sold in 2017 to Britain’s second-largest festival operator, Global Entertainment.
The festival has increased in size, both in capacity and footprint, and now also has a camping site on the outskirts of the city at Farlington Fields with campers bussed in.
Early bird tickets for Victorious Festival are on sale now with weekend camping tickets from just £145 and day tickets from just £55 (fees apply).
