A NEW pet grooming salon has officially opened in Ludgershall after a pet-loving resident made the move from a garage to her very own store.
As previously reported, Autumn Sammes, who lives in Andover, is a fully qualified groomer with more than eight years of experience.
The 25-year-old, who studied animal management before going on to work as an apprentice, decided to set up her own business when she moved to Andover.
The pet lover opened Paws at No.4 in November 2021, which she used to run from her mum's garage.

On Sunday, August 27, she opened the new shop which can be found on the High Street in Ludgershall.
She told the Advertiser that she was "blown away" by the warm reception she has received from the community.
She said: "It went really well lots of people turned up and it was a really emotional day. We had the Ludgershall mayor came down and cut the ribbon and he welcomed me to the area.
"I gave a little speech and everyone who came enjoyed some prosecco and cake."
Her business has already won Best Pet Grooming Salon and Boutique 2022, Most Inspiring Dog Groomer for Hampshire 2022 and Most Caring Pet Grooming Business for Hampshire 2023.

She previously said: "I’ve now taken the leap to upgrade my salon and business to a high street shop.
"I groom dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. My current business has won multiple awards.
"I don’t use cages or cabinet dryers and I strongly believe in making grooming as enjoyable as possible for the animals I groom.
"Instead of cages, we have spacious playpens for the dogs with toys and a bed. I groom all breeds of dogs including giant breeds."
She continued: "The animals are given a relaxing spa-like experience with pet-safe lavender room spray, calming spa music and a personalised experience depending on the animals' needs."
She said that she had received great feedback from customers and is really excited to continue to grow her business at the new premises.
