AN ANDOVER man has been disqualified after he was caught drink driving in the town.
Alan Thwaites, of Camelot Close, was stopped near his house on April 4 with not less than 137 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood – the legal limit is 80.

The 48-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court.
Thwaites was disqualified from driving for 16 months and fined £480. He must also pay a £192 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
