Five McLaren sports car drivers were caught driving at over 100mph while using a major Wiltshire road as a “race track”.
Five McLarens were stopped by police bombing down the A303 at speeds of more than 100mph.
Officers say the group of drivers were spotted driving in close proximity to each other and to other members of the public.
All the drivers have now been issued with traffic offence reports, say police.
Officers shared information about the shocking incident on the Twitter account of Wiltshire Specialist Operations, which covers the force’s road policing and armed response units.
A spokesperson said: “Road Policing Units managed to get five McLarens stopped on the A303 after the pack were driving in excess of 100mph and close proximity driving to themselves and the public.
“This isn’t a race track so take your ‘driving experience’ and sign the traffic offence report.”
