In July 2023, the most recent month available, 809 crimes were reported across the borough according to data.police.uk.
The most common category was violence and sexual offences, with 358 offences reported.
Anti-social behaviour incidents were the second-most common category, with 70 reports during the month, followed by 64 reports of public order offences.
