POLICE officers responded to a reported burglary in progress at an abandoned building in Andover.
Despite the prompt response, no suspects were located at the scene.
The officers were called to The Court House on West Street in Andover at 11.53am on Wednesday, October 4.
At the same time, an education fair was being held at the Andover College and the Leisure Centre, both located in close proximity to the abandoned building.
After arriving at the scene, police officers strategically positioned their vehicles on either side of the building.
However, upon thorough investigation, no offenders were discovered within the vicinity.
The police vehicles left the site after an hour.
