AN AWARD-winning fish and chips business has officially opened its first takeaway in Hampshire.
Harlees, a family business, has recently celebrated the opening of its new store in Andover.
Harlees replaced Vets 4 Pets in Weyhill Road after plans for the shop were approved by Test Valley Borough Council in June 2022.
The Andover store opened early in October, with a menu of all the traditional favourites including cod, haddock and battered sausage.

Earlier this year, Harlees picked up the Best Multiple Operator at the National Fish and Chip Awards. It received praise for its high standards at its branches across the South West.
Harlees Andover manager, Christian Teal, said: "We're really glad to finally be open and we're looking forward to serving up some great food for our customers. Please feel free to pop in and give us a try."
The takeaway in Andover is Harlees' first store in Hampshire, but its ninth location overall.
