A LUDGERSHALL man has been found guilty of stalking.
Steven Murphy, 49, of Roys Close, was found guilty of two charges of stalking by Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on October 6.
Murphy stalked his victim in Tidworth between March 18 and 23 by attending her property and sending her messages.
For this, he was sentenced to 25 days of alcohol treatment over six months and he will be electronically monitored for four months to make sure he does not attend Pickernell Road.
Between March 19 and April 3, Murphy stalked another victim in Tidworth by turning up at his place of work, photographing him, following him, posting about him on Facebook and making attempts to find his address.
A restraining order preventing Murphy from contacting both victims or entering Andover College, Wiltshire College or Pickernell Road until May 5, 2025, was also imposed.
Murphy was fined £120 and ordered to pay court costs of £620 as well as a £114 surcharge.
