CHEF and former owner of an Andover pub who pleaded guilty to charges of stalking and harassment has sought an adjournment on his sentencing because he wants to change his plea.
David Watts, 43, who previously owned the Crown Inn in Upton, had pleaded guilty on Monday, September 4, to stalking a woman which amounted to harassment.
However, he appeared before the Basingstoke Magistrates' Court for sentencing on Tuesday, October 17, and sought an adjournment.
He told the magistrates that he wants to change his guilty plea because he was misadvised by his previous legal representative.

After deliberations, the three magistrates decided to adjourn the case to Wednesday, December 6.
Mr Watts was accused of attending a woman’s location unannounced on numerous occasions, tampering with her CCTV and messaging her regarding her movements, which was unwanted.
Watts represented himself.
He has been released on conditional bail, including an order to make no direct or indirect contact with the victim.
